2025/2026 Scout Kick-Off

We are excited for scouting to be returning for the 2025-26 school year! We have a great group of Cub Scouts and an amazing set of leaders with a great calendar of events planned.

It all starts with our parent meeting/water rocket building night on Wednesday August 27th from 6:00-7:00 at Hurstbourne Christian Church. Parents will be able to meet den leaders, get a look at the calendar for the year, and ask any questions you may have before you register. Please bring 2 empty 2-liter bottles as they will be needed to build the body of the rockets.

What’s more fun than building a rocket??? Launching them! We’ll have our rocket launch the following Wednesday, September 3rd at the Lowe Playground (6-7 for K-2nd / 6:45-7:30 for 3rd-5th). Bring your scout and their rocket, and we’ll take care of the rest. The rockets are powered by a blast of water, so make sure your scout wears clothes you don’t mind them getting wet. You’ll be able to register for scouts at this meeting, and the annual dues are only $195.
